Courtney Roth grew up in Denver Colorado where her father taught her the value of caring for pets. She first began volunteering for The Denver Dumb Friends(http://www.ddfl.org/adopt) at age 14 where she learned about the tragedy of pet overpopulation. She rescued numerous pets before the age of eighteen because her father’s love of companion animals was as great as her’s. Courtney moved from NYC to San diego in 1998 where she began volunteering again with Helen Woodward and Second Chance Dog Rescue.  Along the way she fostered dozens of dogs and cherished each and every one. In the fall of 2012 she joined Almost Home Animal Rescue. Courtney lives with her three rescue dog’s Ella, Booty, Daisy and her foster Charlie.
